A dating app for adults who want a real, deep relationship and find it hard to meet someone right for them. A short personality and values test gets to know you first, then 10da10 introduces you in two ways. In Discover there is no swiping: you look at profiles one by one, each with a compatibility prediction. In Matchmaker, people close to you, or matchmakers who don’t know you if you choose, look at pairs our compatibility engine suggests and vote. The name is Turkish for “10 out of 10”.

You take a short personality and values test, and our compatibility engine compares two people’s answers to estimate their compatibility out of 10. How well two people fit, and whether a relationship lasts, is a complex question that reaches from the psychology literature to social norms and local values. We build this calculation in our Compatibility Lab with every resource we have, and we aim high. Still, the result is a prediction. You see the chemistry when you meet.

Our compatibility engine suggests pairs that look highly compatible. Matchmakers look at the two people’s photos, the answers on their profiles and the compatibility prediction together, and mark each pair “a great fit”, “maybe” or “not a fit”. That way a match has human intuition next to the calculation, and someone who knows you can see what a test can’t. Matchmakers’ votes can bring someone to you as a suggestion. A match opens only if you both accept, and starting the conversation is still up to you.

No, Matchmaker is optional. Playing matchmaker for others is your choice. Your pairs are seen only by people close to you who connected with you by invitation, and matchmakers who don’t know you take part only if you turn that on. If you prefer, you use Discover alone.

First, you help people close to you meet someone right for them. When a pair you voted on matches, you see it, and how accurate you are builds up in your Intuition score. If you choose, your name appears in the chat of a matched pair you found compatible. We’re planning a matchmaker league for those who want to join, and different ways to reward successful matchmakers.

Yes. You don’t look for a match yourself. You look at pairs our compatibility engine suggests and vote.

Match suggestions and the compatibility score always come from our compatibility engine. In our trials, AI matching without the engine didn’t give consistent results. The AI’s only job is to put the engine’s conclusion into words and interpret it.

For example, if the engine finds that you two are close on planning and complement each other on sociability, the AI puts it as “You both like to plan ahead, and one of you has a social energy that can balance the other’s calm.” It also describes the personality summary from your answers in a few sentences, such as “You’re open to new things, and you still think your decisions through.”

Your religion is never sent to an AI service.

One. When you match with someone new, there’s a short introduction period, then you choose who to continue with. If you don’t choose, your current chat goes on. The point is to give real time to the person you’re talking to.

Votes are anonymous. When you match, you see only the names of the matchmakers who found you compatible and allowed their name to be shown. Those who keep their name hidden appear only as a number.

We’re preparing for a closed test now. 10da10 will open on Android and iPhone. The first 5,000 people at launch will be our founding group, and joining stays open after that. If you join the waitlist, we’ll let you know by e-mail when it opens.

10da10 opens in Istanbul first. We’ll announce the order of other cities separately.
